If you are completely new to yoga our induction course is the best place to start to get a good grounding in the full range of yoga poses - see information under Induction Course below. The drop in beginners classes are suitable for anyone who has completed the induction course or has a little experience of yoga. We also run an introductory beginners class on Mondays at 5:15pm which is a shorter and gentler drop in class.

All beginner level classes are designed to help beginners build their confidence as well as their strength and flexibility.  They are intended to get you started in Iyengar yoga and  you can then start attending our general classes.

We also run some combined beginners and general classes which are a little more challenging. In yoga you should always be seeking to progress so, when you have built your confidence and understanding in the induction or beginners classes, it is time to move to one of these classes.

The intermediate classes are more demanding classes and are aimed at those ready for more of a challenge.

The Wednesday evening class is with a senior Iyengar teacher, Sophie Carrington. Priscila Diniz runs our Saturday morning class. Both classes are challenging and will help you develop your understanding of poses and your level of practice.
