You may have noticed that our garden has had quite a drastic prune! The hedge at the front was very overgrown and could look quite wild in-between trims. It has been cut right back to expose the original cast iron fence (which is the same age as the original building) so that we can clean it up a bit. The hedge will grow back eventually but we will keep it under control and level with the fence!

This has opened up a lot of light into the garden and the next step is to take out some of the older plants and remove the smaller plant pots so there is more space for the lovely large pots to be seen and for the plants to thrive. By next spring the garden should be looking distinctly more loved!

We are also thinking of extending the mosaic decorations on our path next summer. The mosaic was created to celebrate BKS Iyengar officially opening IYISL in 1995. We would like to extend the mosaic so that the design is reflected onto the pillars either side of the gate entrance.
